The Gourmet 11" Hollow Edge Salmon Slicer is the ideal tool for preparing and carving fresh, cured, or roasted salmon. This hollow-edge salmon knife, with its extremely sharp, flexible blade, slides easily through all fish (especially steaky fish like salmon!) during slicing, allowing for even, wafer-thin pieces. The dimples near the edge of the blade create small air cushions during slicing that prevent any food from sticking to the blade.  Blades are laser-cut from a single piece of steel and easy to sharpen. Full tang adds weight and balance to blades longer than 5 inches. Knives feature high-impact, molded synthetic handles that are comfortable to hold, more durable and sanitary than wood.  Produced by skilled craftspeople in the knife-producing capital of the world, Wüsthof blades have been crafted in Solingen, Germany, for over 200 years.
