  • WOVEN ARAMID-FIBER WOOFER - The aramid cone shape offers even greater stiffness and damping, far superior to polypropylene or paper. The added strength allows more flexibility in design to achieve a smoother, extended low-frequency response.
  • THICK MDF CABINETS - The MDF cabinets are larger and internally braced for greater stiffness & strength, reducing cabinet vibrations. Plus, the front-firing ports prevent placement against walls or in bookshelves from compromising performance.

The ELAC Debut B6.2 black bookshelf speaker is a remarkable improvement on the original Debut B6, receiving worldwide acclaim and industry awards. This speaker is designed to raise the bar for bookshelf performance, outperforming competitors that are priced much higher. It features a new tweeter with a wide-dispersion waveguide for a broader soundstage. The new woven Aramid-Fiber woofer delivers a clear and highly detailed mid-range. With a sensitivity of 87db at 2.83v/1m, the Debut B6.2 ensures a high output with minimal distortion. The new cabinet design allows for easier placement and better integration into any room. It has a crossover frequency of 2200Hz and a frequency response range of 44Hz - 35000Hz, which guarantees a wide spectrum of sound. The nominal impedance is 6 Ohms and it can handle up to 120 Watts of power input. Note: This product is not waterproof.
