  • The acoustic guitar includes an advanced auditorium body shape that delivers a richer low mids and better body to weight balance, which conventional Auditorium bodies tend to lack. The guitar includes a Maple fretboard with a low oval grip maple neck that facilitates easy chord strumming.
  • The acoustic guitar features the A.I.R.port with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them to exit from a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.
  • The carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing, tone braces, and finger braces efficiently transmit string vibration from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response. The mids are slightly scooped for better tonal balance, and the treble has the clarity of steel strings while retaining the warmth of nylon strings.
  • The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making the AE suitable for variety of applications for modern players. The Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into.
  • Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.
