The Gourmet 8" Carving Knife has a longer and narrower blade than a chef's knife, allowing the knife to cleanly cut through meats. The pointed tip is designed to help guide meat away from the bone. Blades are laser-cut from a single piece of steel and easy to sharpen. Full tang adds weight and balance to blades longer than 5 inches. Knives feature high-impact, molded synthetic handles that are comfortable to hold, more durable and sanitary than wood.  Produced by skilled craftspeople in the knife-producing capital of the world, Wüsthof blades have been crafted in Solingen, Germany, for over 200 years.
