With its long, serrated and very light blade, this professional baker’s or pastry knife cuts extremely cleanly through cakes and tarts and makes slicing cakes horizontally easy too. The straight side of the Bakers Knife is also ideal for spreading icing or creamy toppings over large areas. Strong, long-lasting blades with a v-ground edge are precision-tapered from bolster to tip to maintain their shape and hold their edge. Blades are laser-cut from a single piece of steel and easy to sharpen. Full tang adds weight and balance to blades longer than 5 inches. Knives feature high-impact, molded synthetic handles that are comfortable to hold, more durable and sanitary than wood.  Produced by skilled craftspeople in the knife-producing capital of the world, Wüsthof blades have been crafted in Solingen, Germany, for over 200 years.
