  • FRONT RUNNER - The Endura 4 sets the standard as one of the best-selling folding knives ever made. All members of the Endura 4 family include a four-position clip, a high-strength back lock mechanism, and Trademark Round Hole.
  • AN EXCELLENT TOOL FOR TEACHING - This blunted knife is designed for new knife knuts looking to practice proper knife handling skills.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT AND DURABLE - This Endura handle is fabricated with Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon. FRN is a polymer mixed with glass fiber that is injection molded and formed into a sleek textured handle, creating a lightweight yet high-strength knife handle.
  • A SECURE GRIP - To provide a non slip grip, these knives are molded with our patented pattern, Bi-Directional Texturing. This texture pattern consists of opposing graduated steps radiating outward from the center of the handle.
  • CUSTOMIZE TO YOUR NEEDS - Whether you want to carry your knife tip up or tip down, on the right side or left, this knife is designed to be adaptable for your preferences.

In the 1980’s, the original Spyderco Endura blazed a trail as one of the first lightweight clip-carry folding knives. Today it remains one of our most popular models and continues to set the standard for all other knives of its breed. Now in its fourth generation, it has also inspired a broad range of variations to meet virtually every user’s needs and preferences.

All Endura 4 Lightweights are distinguished by their skeletonized stainless steel liners and injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handles. This specific version of the design features a blunt, round-tipped blade machined from AUS-6 stainless steel. The holes in the blade reduce its weight to be comparable to that of its live-blade cousin and, along with the red FRN handle scales, allow it to be instantly recognized as a training tool. All other aspects of the knife—including its sturdy back lock mechanism and four-position hourglass clip—are faithful to the sharpened versions it represents. In this way, it can be used to seamlessly flow from carry, to drawn and deployment, to safe contact with a training partner.
